I hope you all had a great weekend. We were both super busy but I did manage to sneak away and score a few finds...The cutest score of the week was...Addie's Halloween costume!
Never underestimate the power of Goodwill... Yup, Addie is now going to be an astronaut. This was a ten buck score! I know, I know you probably expect me to make their costumes and sometimes I do... there was the time Molly wanted to be a storm cloud so (for obvious reasons) I had to make that one. But when you find something like this?!?!... store bought it is!I also managed to scout out our local auction and put a bid on this...Don't you love? Could be for sale! Of course I have to find out if I won it or not- I always put in absentee bids. I'm a little to competitive and unpredictable in the moment.
Another 'find' that found us was from one of our followers. We were contacted by one of our readers, Michelle, about her obsession with hunting for cool things. (she's a picker). I checked out some of her pics and found some camels I wanted...I asked if she had anything else I could look at and she said she had a few things and to come on over.I peeled out of the driveway on two wheels drove over and she wasn't kidding... She had basically turned her living room into a 'shop'. (how many of these little 'shops' are out there- I must know!) I'm loving this nightstand (shocker) and the little mid century owl collection behind it.
There were pretty collections everywhere... I am loving all this blue and white.
I think someone needs this mirror... maybe it's me- would look great in my powder room!
Spider lamp... Asian art... bar ware... oh my! I was so happy that I got to meet Michelle and dig through all her finds. I walked out with a box full of goodies! Michelle has a great eye and I think we just found a new place to shop for clients! Contact us if you want to know more about this living room storefront!
