Friend of a friend of a friend...

OK, so we are obsessed with the new crop of fab stylists out there. Not scary obsessed, but just checking blogs and trying out their brilliant tips, and posting on their blogs (anonymously, is that weird)??

We were thrilled to find out that a friend of a friend, Frances Bailey, showcased her work on Bravo's Real Housewives of D.C. Since we are real housewives, we figured we could totally relate.

This is the home of Mary Schmidt Amons (D.C. Houswives star and mother of 5, yes, we said 5), and is styled to perfection by the ultra-talented Frances Bailey.

The home owner's personal fashion sense is shown throughout the house and is a true reflection of her.

I love the lock on the closet door. Maybe I could get one of those and lock myself in there?

Note the must-have shoes by the island... perfect for chasing 5 kids.

So... our other BFF, Emily Henderson, winner of HGTV Design Star is sharing her tips and talent on the new show, Secrets of a Stylist.

In one of the final episodes, she designs an apartment around the way her client dresses. He had a buttoned up, polished style in a pin-striped suits and loved to travel. Can you see it in this room? Check out the pin striped wall!

Her taste is so lived in and real. It makes you think that after a trip to the flea market and some fresh new fabrics, you too, can transform your living room and your LIFE.

Em is so relatable that we are now best friends. OK, so that is a little bit of an exaggeration. We "blog". OK, so that is a little bit of an exaggeration. We follow her blog and she has no idea who we are. Oh well...

Today, I have on the same thing I slept in last night. It is doubling today as "workout clothes". Since I haven't made it to the gym yet, I am still claiming "workout clothes". I hope that when Emily calls me for coffee, she wouldn't take that to be my personal style. That would make quite a pretty room...
