Night, night sleep tight....don't let the bed bugs bite. Kids rooms can be challenging and fun! We wanted our clients 3 young kids to each feel like they had a special place of their own. Don't get freaked out when we say theme BUT each space had a very distinct direction...
The "Camp Room"....
what little boy wouldn't want a skull on their wall?
The "H" has a rustic rodeo vibe going on that we loved! Our client picked up the animal etchings in London.
Our client had wanted a bunk bed like this from the start. It's like a bed meets playhouse meets storage unit. She reported back that when her son walked in he approved! (flipped really...)
"London" Room...
We couldn't do the house without a London room. The clients have been there for 8 years and all her children were born there. So the youngest boy got an inspired from across the pond room!
The art over the bed is from the book "This is London".
We picked up the grain sacks while we were in London at an antiques fair. We were excited to incorporate them into the space! We hope they always have fond memories of their time in London and never stop saying Mummy!
The "Nursery"....
The jumping off point for the nursery was the wallpaper and amazing vintage lamps Hooper found here in Wilmington. The Anthropologie drapes are perfect for a dreamy little girls space and the dresser was another London score! ....
The client sent us the Alice in Wonderland prints. We wanted the over sized lamps and punchy wallpaper to carry the Alice in Wonderland vibe through the room.
Right now a pack and play takes up residence at the end of the bed but soon the sweet baby girl will feel like a princess sleeping in her big girl bed!
We hope our clients children feel special and proud of their spaces. Our clients took a lot of time making sure each space reflected the child. We love the outcome... what about you?
Bye, bye birdie,
