Palm Beach Chic

I just wrapped up this grown up room for a fourteen year old girl. She wanted it to have a bright Lilly Pulitzer look and her existing bamboo chandelier was the perfect jumping off point. 

We had her desk repainted and paired it with a chair she already had. 

Bright desk accessories organized in a lucite cosmetic holder from HomeGoods is perfect storing home work supplies. 

I took an upholstered screen from World Market and separated it into parts for an inexpensive pin board for photos and artwork.

I had her slipper chair recovered for an updated bright look and added a fun pillow. 

This HomeGoods bench was perfect for the foot of bed. 

My favorite coverlet from Target was monogrammed in a fretwork pattern. 

The bright green is the perfect accent against this tropical parrot fabric. I love finding unexpected fabrics on Spoonflower because the patterns are designed by artists and the quality of the material is wonderful (go for the canvas every time). 

 I love that it has a retro Lilly feel 

The lilac walls are a soft palate for the bright pops of color in the rug and furnishings in this little sitting area. 

Cubes from HomeGoods offer extra storage and a sophisticated place to put up her feet. 

I scored this palm chandelier at local haunt Thrill of the Hunt and spray painted it a glossy hot pink. It is the perfect compliment to space.
