School House ROCKS!

Today was back to school. Preschool here we come!

Kids are being followed into school by paparazzi (aka: parents). Moms are hugging, crying, peeling toddlers off of their legs while we are peeling out of the parking lot on two wheels. So Long Summer...

After dropping off our little birds at preschool, it got us thinking about what it will be like when they fly the coup and we drop them off at college. Have you had to do that yet?

What was your move to college like? Anyone up for a flashback?

If you had style back then, how did you trick out your dorm room? Was it a reflection of you?

Was it lily white and pure?

Or a reflection of the night before...

Was it cool and hip like you?

Ours was definitely cool and hip...

Hey roomie, put some Gangsta Rap on the phonograph!

Or was it something from a John Hughes film?

Can't you just hear the mix tape playing in the background...Who are those people on the wall?

If we could do it all over again... there are so many things we would do differently...

Guess who would move right into this room?

Guess who would dig this space?

If we had roomed together, perhaps we'd be lucky enough to live here...

Dear Cool College Girl, we love your room. We are pretty sure we would love you too. Would you like to join our sorority? It's super fun. We are kind of old (which means we're wise). We carpool all day long, drink all day long (coffee) and our husbands are really hot (we are asleep by 9). We will be awaiting your reply. Bye bye birdie...
