I have been updating my kitchen with new countertops, backsplash and paint! It is quite the transformation. If you recall, my earlier days in this kitchen felt a little like working the drive through at Checkers. You may remember the updates along the way... see here. I changed out the Luna Pearl granite for Vermont White and love the lighter look with tons of movement! I gave the white walls a little color with Benjamin Moore's "Hint of Pink". I love how it makes the cabinets and the trim pop. Remember my fab chinoiserie chairs from HomeGoods? I love the aqua geometric with the rest of the color scheme. The arabesque tile is accented with a gray grout and while I was sad to lose my mirrored backsplash... I added some mirrors to the cabinet doors. It bounces light around the room and makes the long kitchen feel wider. What do you think? Small changes make a big impact. Now, I have the kitchen of my dreams. Bye bye birdie...
